FEES AND PAYMENTS POLICY
1. WHO ARE WE?
1.1. M/s Carpet Fusion India Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, having its registered office at C-114, Omicron 2, Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar – 201310, India (“Carpet Fusion”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), manages and operates the website www.carpetfusion.com and the corresponding mobile applications thereof (collectively referred to as the “Platforms”). Through the Platforms, Carpet Fusion offers retail solutions and facilitates the online sale of a diverse range of carpets, rugs, and home accessories listed on the Platforms from time to time (“Products”) to users of the Platforms (“User”, “Users”, “you”, or “your”).
2. WHAT IS THIS FEES AND PAYMENTS POLICY?
2.1. This Fees and Payments Policy (“FPP Policy”), together with the Platform Terms of Use, Terms of Sale, and Privacy Policy, describes Carpet Fusion’s accepted payment methods, policies, and procedures in relation to fees and payments for services and Products offered through the Platforms. Our objective is to ensure the Platforms are user-friendly and equipped with robust security infrastructure to protect the financial information you share.
2.2. Users are required to carefully review and understand the terms of this FPP Policy. If you do not agree with the terms herein, you are advised not to accept the Platform Terms of Use and this FPP Policy, and you must discontinue use of the Platforms. By using, browsing, accessing, or purchasing from the Platforms, you agree to be bound by the terms of this FPP Policy and any subsequent updates or amendments.
3. FEES AND PAYMENT OPTIONS
3.1. To ensure user convenience, Carpet Fusion offers multiple payment options (“Payment Options”). Carpet Fusion reserves the right to add or remove payment options without prior notice. Current Payment Options include:
3.1.1. Payment through net banking facilities;
3.1.2. Payment through select credit cards;
3.1.3. Payment through select debit cards;
3.1.4. Payments through prepaid payment instruments and electronic wallets;
3.1.5. Payments through equated monthly installments (“EMI”) enabled for select debit and/or credit cards;
3.1.6. Any other payment option provided by Carpet Fusion from time to time.
3.2. While we strive to offer a variety of Payment Options, Carpet Fusion currently accepts payments only from major select banking and financial institutions. We do not accept payments made through international debit/credit cards unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3.3. Carpet Fusion reserves the right to reject payments from users through any Payment Option at its sole discretion. To validate a transaction, Carpet Fusion may request additional documentation, such as a copy of the user’s photo ID proof (e.g., PAN card). Failure to provide such documentation may result in rejection of the payment.
3.4. When using Payment Options, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and lawful financial information such as credit/debit card details or wallet information. You must ensure that the payment instrument used is lawfully owned by you or authorized for your use. Carpet Fusion disclaims all liabilities for unauthorized use of your financial information.
3.5. Carpet Fusion shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage suffered by a user due to:
3.5.1. Lack of authorization for a transaction, including those on gift cards or vouchers issued by Carpet Fusion;
3.5.2. Technical glitches occurring during payment processing;
3.5.3. Transaction declines or failures beyond Carpet Fusion’s control.
3.6. All Products listed on the Platforms are inclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for paying any additional fees, charges, or taxes, including but not limited to GST, VAT, duties, or cesses as required by applicable law.
3.7. In addition to this FPP Policy, the terms and conditions of your bank, financial institution, or card issuer may also apply to your transactions. Carpet Fusion is not responsible for any declines, restrictions, or failures caused by your bank, financial institution, or card issuer.
3.8. Carpet Fusion may engage third-party payment service providers, including payment aggregators, prepaid instrument providers, and courier or logistics providers, to facilitate payments. By using the Platforms, you consent to such arrangements as required under applicable laws.
4. INVALIDATED PAYMENTS
4.1. If a payment made through the Platforms is invalidated for any reason, Carpet Fusion reserves the right to recover the invalidated payment from you. You shall remit the payment to Carpet Fusion’s designated bank account within five (5) business days of receiving a written notice. Failure to do so may result in Carpet Fusion initiating legal action against you at your cost and risk.
5. EMI PAYMENTS
5.1. The EMI Payment Option enables users to make staggered payments for purchasing Products from the Platforms. The EMI Payment Option is available only for eligible credit cards issued by select banks as specified on the Platforms. The terms and conditions of the respective banks apply to all EMI payments. Carpet Fusion is not liable for any disputes, claims, or issues arising from the use of this Payment Option.
